Costume Jewelry

Costume jewelry is sometimes synonymous with low grade or fake jewelry. This is not always the case however. While it is true that most costume jewelry you will find contains glass rather than gems, some high grade costumes come complete with a jewelry kit that would make royalty do a double take.

A costume shop is the best place to look for low grade costume jewelry. There you can find a realistic tiara for your daughter’s princess costume, or a set of earrings for a fairy costume. These stores won’t be the place to shop for high end jewelry. That type requires an entirely different type of shopping.

To get a costume made that costs millions of dollars is no small feat, and to get someone to do it… well that takes connections. It goes without saying that you can’t adorn your body with millions of dollars in clothing without at least some of the money going to gold and jewels. But costume jewelry of this order is something else entirely. Victoria’s secret, for example, sells a multi-million dollar jeweled bra in their holiday lineup each year, this is an exemplary piece of high end costume jewelry.
